How would you make glass have bump maps in the shader transparent glass tag? I've added the bump map to it but the glass has like no depth perception whatsoever.

i talked with Eliteslasher about this,i was a little confused at 1st but he investigated and found. oh wait, i am not sure about "glass" shaders. The bump or transparenct was carried by the alpha in the bump. EDIT Ha, after actually reading what you are trying to do. Its impossible to have bumpmaps on any shader other than a shader_environment. Edited by Maniac1000 on Jan 26, 2011 at 09:36 PM

Fakebumps can be done either by using a detail map or multi that is that same as the base map, except used for bumping purposes. Most people use the detail map method. The others will hopefully elaborate on this for me. Edited by MoooseGuy on Jan 27, 2011 at 05:19 PM
