I've got a .tiff file that has transparency set up on it, but when I compile it and put it on a model, the transparent spots are replaced with black.

Duplicate the Alpha Channel as a new channel.

that just made the whole bitmap transparent.

set as explicit alpha, then recompile the bitmap.

Are you sure you are setting up the alpha correctly? If not. Here is a reference of how alpha should properly be defined. If yes then ignore this and I have no clue what the issue is.

nevermind; my size was at 510x510 instead of 512x512, so the bitmap didn't change from the bad one :x
