So when I have a ton of scenery placed around the map in Sapien, it lags like crazy. Is there any way I can drastically reduce or get rid of this problem. Just wondering, of course it's supposed to do that, what do you expect will happen if you load so much stuff, but I was wondering if there is any way around this. Could I run Sapien as a priority program or something like that?

I noticed that if the camera can't see the little diamond things it doesn't lag. Just don't look at a big bunch of those things at once. Look at the ground when flying around, something like that

Also, integrate some of those scenery objects into the bsp if you are able to. The map runs better in and out of the game if there are less actual scenery objects.

How do u integrate scenery into bsp?

I think when you are making the map in gmax etc and it turns out like the covvie ship in extinction

I'm pretty good at making an all grass map though when I add the bitmap it covers the whole map and even the sides so it's like retarded

Lol I don't, the graphix card on my dads computer doesn't support halo ce but it does support halo full( I got it for my b-day :D) and on my mums laptop I don't wanna download halo ce because ittl take forever because of the slow Internet because I used to have a pc with halo ce and all my game maker stuff till lil cuzin dropped water on it and never started it up again and I kept the harddrive and gave it to some guy and he said he could do nothing vecause his harddrive slot was SATA and mine was an older type and bla bla bla so I'm stuck with halo 2 which I frequently play on my mums laptop. Does any 1 else here play halo 2 for pc, it works on win 7

hmm i used to. It lags on my pc tho and the graphics suck on my pc too.
