Hello I made a scenery but i'm still working on it but why is the example plate floor have a dirt material but a metal bitmap? I keep on remaking the shader for it and making it metal (thick) but in game it's dirt? Why does it keep switching material?

Thanks, I have another question about my scenery, I want a effect on it, so I put markers in max where I want them and did some stuff in the attachments but ingame I don't see the effect, does it have to do with the A in stuff?
