I think that since there are so many great maps from the newer Halo games, there should be more remakes. So yes, there are a lot from Halo 2, but there are so few from 3, ODST, and Reach.

I know you're a noob and all, but what is the point of this topic? I mean, is this a request or what? Search for Halo 2/3 remake topics. Don't bump them either.

Wow......... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. What is the fun in making something that has already been made? Where is the fun in doing something many others can easily do too? There is hardly any creativity involved in remakes. Only in making it work. That's all. Doing custom items requires skill, and creativity, and can be a whole lot more impressive than any remake.

It wouldn't have been as bad if I hadn't made it blatantly obvious that i was being sarcastic.

Actually is doesn't. It just needs to presented by people with sufficient literary skills to frame in in such a way that its presence is noticeable it even the most illiterate of readers. The problem is not sarcasm in it self, the problem is the presentation and the intended audience.

I like that POV Dennis, didn't really think about it like that ever before... Then again i can't really be sure that the people who read a sarcastic post are going to understand it :(...

Which should be taken into account when posting one. The written word, unlike the spoken one, does not have inflection nor body language to imply intent. Therefore, care must be taken when posting messages that mimic colloquial speech. Remember in face to face discussions there are actually two meanings for "you suck" one starts an argument the other laughter depending on the inflection. When written it nearly always means the same and starts arguments.

Well yeah, I mean this is Halo Custom Edition after all, it would be a good idea to put a little bit of CE twist. But of course since bungie made them, then the structure for the maps is very good. Like for example the map "Zanzibar Classic," while not having cool custom weapons has a pretty good design being from Halo 2.

P.S. (randomness)
I'm so lazy, I was gonna make a cool Derelict Firefight and even changed all of the shaders, but I felt making the AI work well would be boring and a lot of work. Maybe I'll work on a cooler, but interesting firefight.
