Now i'm totally new to the AI concept but it seems that a lot of people would like them to sync on multiplayer. I've seen a lot of games that have gotten this to work; for example:

Battlefront (1 and 2)
Unreal Tournament

Like i said, i'm totally new to the AI concept but is there a way to make the Ai register as a player instead of a cpu. I've seen that they possibly could, theoretically. When they kill you, it says the guardians have killed you. Would this be possible to do?

Just throwing the idea out there Hellreaper, ideas fabricate reality. Though as Matthew stated it may be. Lots of scripting may be involved but its only as possible as a person has patience.

No, it's... not. If you knew anything about scripts you would see that it is not a possibility.

Like i said, i was new to the concept. I'm still experimenting with things and i did say "may" not "will."

I have seen countless threads like this one, please read up before you post like this. AI Synchronization will NEVER, EVER happen in Halo Custom Edition without the usage of a "Third Party Program" or modification of the "Netcode" which is property of "Microsoft" thus illegal to modify without consulting "Microsoft" first... TL;DR AI will never sync unless a "TPP" is used... Dennis will come in and say exactly what i just did soon enough.

Without re-writing the entire game engine AI, Device machines and animated scenery will never sync in the Halo Custom Edition game. The game does not have the core functionality built into the existing code to facilitate it and that functionality can not be scripted because the game engine does not support it. Every three months or so this idea re-surfaces and people are told it can't happen. I understand why and as much as I wish that AI would sync the reality is that there is nothing that can be done to to make them. It took Bungie two more complete re-writes of the game engine to make AI sync in cop-op mode so there is nothing in the Halo 1/ Halo Custom Edition game engine that can be done to make them sync.

Whether or not the code was legit, the guy couldn't find the time. I emailed him and he showed me that he developed in a special language of code that couldn't work with everyone's computer.
