I have a shortsword model in my vehicles folder, if you want it. It isn't mine & I'm not sure whose it is, but it is in-game. Not textured though. I'll get a pic.. If sum1 wants a MAC cannon, then just oversize the Gauss hog cannon. Easy peasy. Just use a very fast rocket projectile, and get the Gauss Cannon impact oversized. No tracking, because it would just be too deadly.
Maybe make an Energy Projector for the covie ship...

Oh.
I don't eally know anything anyway.
I just hate how people make the Mythos cannon the MAC or Mass Driver. They don't explode, they just shoot a massive tungsten projectile at a fraction of the speed of light.
Meh. I hope sumbody makes an Energy Projector. That'd be cool.

going to try and do something simpler..
an an asteroid field field with a few wormholes .. hardest part will be getting the physics and stuff. once i get a basis to start with then i will try t add from that

(*Yes, this is old and I have posted it before, along with an untextured TARDIS console room model*) You want the model? I was really looking forwards to making it, but, as established, I don't have the time, skill or knowledge. It's nothing special, but it's a pretty good concept, and has plenty of room for walking in the ship, and vehicles. You can take it as your own, or I'll jus tpost it as a public model. It's nothing special, and the original frigate shell I used is just a Halo 3 rip which needs fixing. Like I said, I didn't have the time, knowledge or skill, and still don't. This was about 30 minutes' work. Just a suggestion. I have tag placement areas ready designed also if you like - teleporters, weapons, vehicles, you name it. The map model consists of: Asteroids (good for landing on for ambushes, also good to teleport to to escape attack of the ship. spawn point.) Space wreckage (ditto) And in the frigate: Hangar (room enough for 2-3 pelicans, or lots of scorpion tanks and warthogs or banshees. Spawn point) Vehicle stacks (just the right size for a longsword per shelf) Main hull/engine room (spawn point) Entrance through the top of the ship entrance through a damaged thruster entrance through main tunnels So, state your mind. I have no desire to do anything more practical, not for at least 2 years. I'm just drifting on the forums nowadays. i can take a look at it.. might finish it after i finally get mine working or when its impractical to use gmax (due to vibrations on the bus)
as for credits i don/t think anyone really reads the txt file anymore so i just say i made it work.
however i think gorilla might be a pain to try and change the physics of the vehicles so they act as if they are in space truly.
also want to know how to make hogs move or climb on any angle (90*-180*) not sure how yet

K thx. To be honest, I cheated for the warthogs, just like pretty much everything. To make the hogs look like they're in space you could just make them drive like a banshee, but obviously heavier and therefore slower. It works fantastically in H2V, not sure about Halo CE.
Just a sidenote here: I don't want any credit for anything I've passed on to people. What you complete is your own. I couldn't care less about recognition anymore, it's all about just having that lovely experience of playing a map knowing it wasn't by Bugnie/343, but fellow fans.
-EDIT- I'll post a link soon or PM you once I upload it, then you can look at it if you want once you've finished with your own, or maybe integrate it (what you see will work best as scenery tags, as some have open edges). alright.. n yeh that is kinda how i am with the maps.. as for the hogs i want its kinda hard to describe, but basically so it can drive on any angle
