I was looking online for ways to stop lag, and on yahoo, it said in processes to shut off every thing that starts with a cap. Did i do something wrong?
Also, are the things on this site to help stop lag? Oh, and Dennis, I messed up. I posted this on Halo 2 Vista forum. Opps.-_-

Start<Search< type in DXDIAG
If your running XP it would be Start<Run<DXDIAG
Also after a quick search the Dell Latitude D600 uses a really old mobile video card. Edited by iizahsum on Jan 3, 2011 at 09:56 PM

Latitude is a workstation\business laptop anyway, it's not fit for gaming at all. You'd be better off saving money for another PC.

By ending processes that are running on your computer, you probably didn't hurt anything, unless you had unsaved data in one of the programs you ended. A simple restart of your system will start all necessary processes again.
On the topic of stopping lag, you can't really stop it by ending processes or downloading a 'lag stopper'. Lag is the time it takes for a signal to get from the server to you, or from you to the server, measured in milliseconds. To fix that, you need a better web connection, or the server does, depending on which one is the slower for the two.
Otherwise you could mean graphic lag, this is usually a choppy and unresponsive experience while playing the game, even offline. This can be solved rarely by updating graphic drivers, and is most likely your graphics card or processor being too slow. I would suggest upgrading your system if this is the case.
