I downloaded the halo third person fov and when i used it my antivirus said it detected malware, has anyone had this problem before?

norton says that too but shut i shut it off and nothing has happened to my pc yet. anyways i dont think dennis would upload anything that would hurt our computers

nope,because everything on this website is tested before anyone can download.

you will find it's what you called a false positive.

whats your antivirus...norton?

Yeah i don't like norton, but the last time i had it my other anti-virus said it had a trojan in it, but i thought it might have gotten infected elsewhere.



i don't have norton, right now i have Panda, i used to have AVG

uninstall norton. it's bloatware and takes up way too many resources, and prevents the user from accessing certain services.

and uninstall AVG too, AVG lately has been having massive memory leaks, and I mean massive

use avast

panda? i know nothing about that programe,anyway if you have an option to just ignore the warning about the 3rd person app then do so

Use Avast as your protection, then use Malware Bytes as your scanner, then use CCleaner after scanning with Malware Bytes.

I use it. no problems. By the way, if you want 2 play online with this, you need ORIGINAL UI PLUS.

It is a false positive. The program like several other in game utilities uses a keyboard intercept routine that is often used by key-loggers. They use the routine to allow you to activate the utility with a key press while in game because the game has primary focus on the input interface.
