So I've been working on a map mod and for the most part it's going okay. However, I have a major problem regarding a group of ally Elites who refuse to follow me up a small path. If anyone needs pics of what path it is, I'll be glad to post some, but it really is big enough for them to move through. I've checked "automatically migrates" and done the appropriate squad and firing position work that should have allowed the Elites to follow me. I've also been using the Scripts (ai_follow_target_players ) and what not, but so far it isn't cutting it for these ones. If anyone could inform me on how to remedy this problem, that'd be awesome.

Here it is. Those are how they are set up. You can see the area I'm trying to get them through and the massive amount of firing positions as well. The In_Combat squad is the primary squad.

I've done everything according to this tutorial: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=4047. I'll keep double-checking my stuff, but so far the only thing I've found to be a problem was that I had an actor type selected in some of the squads.

do the firing position for the encounters have different colors? like in the order the ai are following the player red>>green>>etc?

Yes. Red is A, Green is B, etc. It might just be the Elites themselves. I was playing a mod of b40 with Elites as your allies and in the area where they are supposed to follow you through the small cave before you reach their extraction location, they didn't follow through the small cave. I'll look into this more, but if anyone sees anything wrong with the setup, please let me know the proper remedy or better solution.

I meant the properties for each squad, or at least the primary squad and two of the empty squads.

The properties for the Primary Squad specify the actor variant, have an alert initial and return phase, have automatic migration checked, the number of AI in the squad, the firing position nearest to them specified, and maneuver to nothing. The empty squads have none of the following except their respective firing positions and automatic migration checked.

Screenshots are always nice ._.

Though from your description, I will assume that everything is correctly set up. In that case, all I can recommend is to include the command that sets the AI follow distance.

Did you set up ai_follow_target_players and the platoons/firing positions correctly?

Yes. I followed the above tutorial and everything....but why would I need platoons.
