yes yes. Work is being done on the bsp's so we just need to fix the phantom and a few other tags and get some custom anims made and that will be two firefights done. The only work i can do atm is replace the v1 brutes with v2 brutes on city_firefight. Thats about it. So i'm looking for ideas for the next firefight

Halo Reach's brutes seem to have more purpose than halo 2/3 brutes.

Carbine vs Brute = easy kill
Otherwise it takes forever to kill one, at least in Halo 2.

muscl3r I would recommend looking at who your giving betas to and double check. I would make sure you trust them.

Halo 2's brutes were stupid and annoying but halo 3 and odst's brutes were kinda fun and reach's brutes were pretty good too. I like them so i'm gonna put them in my firefights

Good idea could i have a night and day version of each version of the map? And could the large area (night time version) be rainy? Oh yeah i still gotta send u some pics

That's what I was talking about bfore on the pm u need a night lightmap to make it look nighty anD since he's gonna make a lightmap then make a night time 1 for city firefight so when u get the egg it changes to night time sky and changes lightmap to the night one so, for the light map u could like make the skull in a room with the egg and the. When u get it it teleports u to the night time bsp and spawns headcrabs there just make sure that city firefight is originally daytime

Well the bsp is being editted and i have v2 brutes in both f/fights. Firefight_chronopolis's command lists are a bit off but they won't matter when we have custom anims

And for city_firefight i just gotta get the vehicles working

okay all i can do for city_firefight now is fix the vehicle command list, fix the damage of the smg (kills a brute ultra with half a clip. Moooseguy might like it), and the automag needs a lil bit of aim assist. The gravity hammer is a bit retarded but it'll do for now

I've put some vids up of the two firefights just to show the opening cutscenes and a few tags. They're on my xfire profile thing

Lol hey does the xfire website work as good as the application? Because I'm currently usin the iPhone
I hope the smg looks good because vie seen pics of it and it does look good and all the other Eros are odst rite? There could be a level where all these banshees come out and u could use the rocket launcher that has homing abilities. It's just fun blowin up banshees with homing rockets

Yes i have a smg. One with crap shaders so I still need yours. Ya a gravity hammer would be useful but a automag would be best

Ok done. I'm gonna put in a cleanup script into the firefights to reduce lag and i have an idea on how to fix the buggers on firefight_chronopolis. Because some of them do the command list then fly back to their starting locations, the script gets screwed up so i'll just set them to respawn and sleep the script for about 2 mins then set respawn false and kill the encounter then the script can move on.

MUSL3R MUSCL3R MUSCL3R hey I figured out a way to make it when u get the egg it changes to night time when making the egg instead of making it spawn headcrabs, u know that u can use devmode commands in scripts rite? So when u get the egg it will use the devmode command to exit the map and start the other part of the firefight(a different map file witch is exactly the same as the previos firefight but has night time lightmaps and night sky and instead of a firefight it's a firefight of just headcrabs till u die. So u can put upload a zip file that contains 'city_firefight_part1' and 'city_firefight_part2' and also contains a readme that specifacly says to start part 1 not 2

The bsp's are being editted atm and we still need to fix our phantom wnd find someone to do custom animations for them. So, I dunno really. Not soon anyway. Might upload some more vids when i fix the cutscene
