I was trying to reinstall HEK but it said that it could not create the folder data\sky\sky_x10, so I deleted all in data but it said I had access denied in it. I searched but none solved the problem! I can't modify the folder AT ALL! Everything I do to it is denied. The only one on the computer is the administrator, me, but says I need administrator permision! WHY IS IT IMPOSIBLE TO DELETE! Is there a program to delete it or to somehow gain access? BTW I have no shared folders. If this continues I will be forced to move my halo ce directery, which I don't want to do. HELP

When you set up Vista or Win 7 the user account that is established is a user NOT the administrator. You can either login as the administrator or change the permissions on the \Halo Custom Edition folder. If you are going to be making maps then changing the permissions on JUST that folder and sub-folders would be the best solution.

Huh, that's weird. I got fustrated and switched the laptop off, then 5 minutes ago I turned it on, then the folders gave me access to them. So I should try restarting now when I get those errors...

There are also some programs out there that allow you to modify denied content. I forget what its called but I use one.
