Hi guys its me again throwing out Ideas, and I was just wondering if this was possible.
Is it Possible to make an RPG server? you know like the ones in Gmod where the server keeps track of you and knows who you and only you are. Like in Gmod you could gain virtual Credit for doing tasks in the server. Like steal from an ATM, or steal from a player by killing him. The virtual credit would be stored under your name and you could buy things such as land, weapons, and vehicles. You could earn jobs with diffrent rates.
So is it possible? if not explain.

Like keeping track of your Ip or something like that. so you wouldnt get your player mixed with another. So the server would keep your data stored.

I guess it means the RPG remembers your player name, like Slappy for instance, and stores data on you. So I guess when, say, Slappy jonins again, it remembers Slappy's score and stuff? I don't know if this is possible, just explaining what you meant.

Yeah...I'm pretty sure gamespy.com or whatever keeps track of player stats.
Whether it's by name or IP I can't remember (probably name). Unsure about external programs but probably very much so possible.
