Every time I export a mesh into gmax, the texture is gone. I was able to make it reappear in the materials tab but it does not appear on the mesh itself regardless of the UVW modifier. Please don't give me a "buy 3dsMax" or "switch to Gmax completely" reply cause that place is where i kept my lagzilla!!!!!!!!!.... and I am not willing to pay $$$$ to do the same thing I could do for free in blender and discard the blender community that even have time to help with my minor projects, even professional ones like this guy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pc9JWYuUa2o

To make a Texture show up in Gmax on the Model you have to enable show map in viewport which is a blue and white checkered cube in the materials panel.

As a side note i use Gmax for every thing from Weapons to Maps, Vehicles, Characters, Animations etc.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! you my good sir are awesome.

Thanks for answering my question right away rather than dissing blender. Once again, I have underestimated this community. Sorry for the 'in your face' sentence i said in my post. It is just that most people around here use 3Dsmax rather than blender and I am not willing to let go of that box of obsessive saving and millions of shortcuts Open source 3D suite . It is just that 3Dsmax is always so far away from my grasp but blender and it's community have always been nearby and pushing me forward all this time until it actually kinda surpasses the far away 3Dsmax. I don't want to betray them after all this time

Again,thanks for your reply.Now I can initiate phase 2
