Son, I would've been your daddy, but, nevermind.

I am making a Reach map where you are in different places of Reach but made A LOT smaller, like one part you would be at New Alexandria, and at a theater and this is where my question comes in. I want TV's or other stuff that has a video on it, like you go in the theater and you see a big screen with AI sitting in seats watching a RvB episode for example. And also a big screen on the top of a building showing a video of Fox News, for another exaple. (I'm just giving examples.)

We tried making a movie theatre a long, long, loooonnggg time ago. I think one of the reasons it ultimately crumbled was that animated textures in Halo eat memory. So if you wanted something to show with a reasonable resolution(by that I mean clarity, aka if you want to tell what you're looking at) you won't have much space for scenery and such in the map.

I remember that thread getting to so many pages long. Was insane how many people were interested in the map.

I still have it. Don't know its condition though.
I have thought of an idea for a movie theater type thing that gets around the horrible memory usage of animated images. Just make a clear wall with some AI duking it out behind it. Lol, sadly that doesn't work for TV's... Unless we had tiny AI....
