Very simple.
-- Create a Free Camera or a Target Camera (doesn't matter which) -- Move it at position 0, 0, 0. -- Rotate it so that it is pointing forward, instead of down. -- Rotate it the camera so that you can see the gun through it. DO NOT rotate the gun, only rotate the camera to see the gun. If you do, that will show on your animation.
