I saved my BSP as a GMAX file, but it doesnt show up where i saved it. And when i go to the "save as:" part of GMAX, the file is in there, but there is a lock on the file. how to fix?

it must have something to do with a setting you have enabled. Or else... what operating system do you have? Not sure if it makes a dif but it might

You have to have the folder 'scenes' permissioned to you by the admin on your cpu.

go do it from the administrator user profile, but I think I know the problem if you're using a certain virus I like to call Vista. If you have vista, try running gmax as administrator

i concur i had vista and it was horrendous went back to xp pro sp2 lol......then got windows 7 ultimate(32 dont got 64 system yet :C) much happier. everything runs smooth and boots in about 25 seconds or less.

tweaked hte f out fo my system, but OT, make sure u know where u saved, cuase sometiems i save and end up sticking it ina random folder. search for the file from recent documents or search abr
