a few days ago, i was using devmode for singleplayer and testing reasons. the next day, when i try to open devmode, it exceptions. i tried making a few of my own maps that show up in the game, but they dont show up in the maps folder. if they have anything to do with it, i want to delete them. does anyone know any way around these issues?

Wait a sec. The maps show up in game halo CE but not in your halo CE maps folder? That makes no sense. Try hitting F5 in your folder so it refreshes it. I just recently had an issue the other way where I had deleted files still showing up then when I hit F5 they showed up. I didn't think that could happen with win7 but, oh well. What operating system are you using BTW?

ok i have windows seven and clicked on compatibility files and they all show up. ill delete them, but if it doesnt work, ill post again. also, halo without devmode works.
UPDATE: nope, doesnt work. also, i tried making a new devmode shortcut. if i put period at the end of the target string, it will run the rcon console, but no devmode commands. if i take the period away, devmode exceptions. Edited by flyingpenguin117 on Oct 24, 2010 at 05:13 PM
