Ok. I have made a very good firefight at bloodgulch. It has 21 waves and wepon unlocking etc.

1. Can I make the music louder so the player can hear it over the bullets and words.

2. Something intersesting. I have a phanton and c_dropship tags that are driveable by ai. How would I program an ai to drive to a spot and drop of covenent and leave.

3. Could this also work if i make flood drive a pelican floodenated. (floodanation)

4. Can a grunt drive a vehicle like an elite.

5. Does any one has good brute tags that I can use. please.

6. An batav1 will be realsed as soon as i test it because my halo disc has gone. Also i put in some good muscic.

7. Does any one know good music that is in halo and what number is it. e.g d40_011.

Gee head noob. What school do u go to? Ur post sucks. Half of it doesn't make sense. What is a batav1? Something Russian??

1. I think thats in the actual sound tag when it was compiled??

2. U will need custom anims in 3ds max

3. doesn't make sense. After translation: U won't see the pilot and i don't think flood can fly anyway. Plus make sure u delete the pelican at the end of the wave.

4. Um....no..........

7. epic stuff: b30_01 d40_08 flood stuff: c40_05

Also, it is possible to make grunts drive vehicles, but it needs to use a seat that grunts can use.
And modify the music loudness either in the gain modifier in the tag, or raise the volume in the .wav file and recompile. Also, I would choose a map other than Bloodgulch..... >>

1. Made that work.

2. I used extinction ships and made then a script but it didnt work they didnt drop the pll and it made an exception. Where can I get an anamation creater.

3. Well like halo2 where flood drive pelicans and it has flood stuff all over it.

4. Like halo3 where grunts drive ghosts.

5. Cmt ones just die when i put them in.

6. Don't worry about that I don't even know how to put it on the website.

7. I picked good ones randomly so that dosn't matter.

And thankyou sargent major for acully doing something insted of useless info like my partner musl3r.

1: Make sure the music is cool.
2: Like he said, you need to make animations. You do this in 3ds Max.
3: Also like he stated, you will need a custom model. Don't make flood drive it. Either make it animate, or have it driven by a marine, and dump out flood.
4: Needs custom animations, or recycle ones from other vehicles.
5: You need to uncheck the "dead" box. They work fine.
6: Don't release a beta for a mod. Its pointless. If it was a real project, made from original stuff instead of happy old bloodgulch, then it would maybe be appropriate.
7: Get some new music in there, DONT pick randomly, come on.

for the dropships, im trying this in my single player map:
have an AI drive the phantom/spirit and when they spawn in, they create several AI and use vehicle_magic_load to put them in the vehicle. then, the pilot drives to a trigger, and when they land there, the trigger runs ai_exit_vehicle, they get out, and fly away
also, i wouldnt recommend using cmts brutes, or any of there bipeds. they take up a CRAPLOAD of space, and the elites dont work.

Ok. I don't have 3ds max or gmax. I i don't have any money to register them. So i have to use maps i extracted using hek+ or mp ones. Also bloodgulch is a good map for a firefight if u use it correctly.

its called blood_firefight. Note it is much better. Unlockeables and 21 wave. Should I add more or 21 waves.

gmax is free, and if you cant make your own level, you might as well rip a level besides bloodgulch. 21 waves is fine.

There is a full ZERO useful tutorials on the internet fot GMAX, i looked The few that had info werent really helpful for mapping

i think that if you dont insert an ending, it just starts the level from the last checkpoint. i saw this in tactical assault. also, you could set the script that spawns enemies to continue infinitely.

If u can't make infinite waves then just keep making 'em until u can't be stuffed or run out of ideas for the enemy paterns
