The Covenant is the end one day...

I done all the map modeling and compiling the jms file, Used tool.exe then I am up to the senario part when you use sapein. The proplem is that when I saw the map the entire map is white(exept the shadows and thy sky.)Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Did you run lightmaps or radiosity?

what does radiosity do? I am doing this right now and it is taking some time.

It calculates lighting for the BSP.

ran radiosity and saved it but the map is still white.

It doesn't matter if the textures are applied applied in max. You need to reference them in your shaders. Do you have the bitmaps compiled and know where your shaders are?

I used the Guerilla and made the shader_envirment for the ground and the cliff. So did they use those tags?


I think I found the problem. I forgot to set the material ID.

The bsp will use the shader which has the exact same name as the material name applied in max.

which means I didn't set meterial ID in gmax.
