alright heres my idea to rig a m61 vulcan turret to a biped so then all you would need for a single player sentry turret is a script to place a AI when u click a panel of something

Its much easier to just have the biped hold that weapon.

Like advancebo said, just make it so that like, the gun stand is the biped, and the gun is the weapon. Then you just need to make it so that when the biped holds the weapon and moves around it looks like a true sentry gun.
Shouldn't be too difficult with some modelling/animation experience. I like the idea, it has some great potential for things like firefight game modes. |

It might be fun to learn! I never did, outside of simple simpleish maps, which was still really fun. :D
