Is there a program that you can get that automatically detects games and other programs that require port forwarding? I am more looking for this for another game, but I also have had trouble port forwarding halo for hosting servers so I never bothered.

Either that, or you could learn how to portforward. It's annoying, it's tedious, but it's something that really should be learned.

you could learn how to, but some routers dont have it as easy like the linskys routers are like 2 clicks and your ports are forwarded but with a crappy comtrend you can't.

I know how to port forward, I've done it for other games that's not the problem, the problem is even after I do it for halo, no one can see my servers. I seriously have no clue why it will not work for halo. I did it b4 correctly when I had XP, maybe it's something I am forgetting to do because of my switch to win7.
