Well in the first place sorry for this weird topic but since Dennis doesn't ever read his PM's (that's what he told me) I had to ask it over the forum itself. There isn't really a general place to put questions about the website itself so I tought this would be the best place.
Ofcourse anyone may post/answhere here.

I am building my mapping team webiste and I am looking for a good forum. Now I love this forum it's the best I've ever seen and I was wondering where it came from. Is this a phpBB forum whit a modifyed .css (it sure looks like it is) or is it made somewhere else? I could ofcourse use a phpBB forum on my site but it's hard to integrate it whit the login system of my site. If this forum is different I would like to ask if I may have a copy of the main working of it. (not the template or loginsystem ofcourse that would be like copying this site)
Now I expect it to be a phpBB forum but I would like to know for sure.

Sorry for the weird topic but I couldn't find an other way to ask this.

No it is not a phpbb forum. It was developed in Cold Fusion and has been heavily modified because the original forum code had numerous security holes. It’s design was modeled after a phpbb forum but lacks numerous functions and is less efficient in it’s use of the database. We originally were testing it for use with our commercial customers but found it lacking and have left it operational because switching to another forum would lose all the existing data. There are much better forum packages available. We are a Cold Fusion development house which is why we do not use any PHP products.

Thanks for your reply Dennis.

I think I sould make my own forum from the start on then. I know it's hard but I need a forum that is simple but has about the same functions as this one. Also I already made myself a very secure login system and I got it to work perfectly (it's scripted in php). The login system should work over all the pages of the website. Also the forum's template should fit to the rest of the website. At the moment I think I should modify that template since it simply isn't wide enough to support a forum. Maybe I can use some pieces of script from phpbb forums and coldfusion forums (I'll just google that).

I see what I can script...
