so I got 3ds max 2010... and my computer shut off while i was using it last night and i found max 8 finnally so I went to uninstall it and this error message popped up

delete your system32 folder

Its about AutoCAD and about installing the program, but I would assume that it would work anyway. I know for certain that 3ds max 9 and below have troubles with Windows Vista's UAC, so this is likely the reason.

Another reason to damn Micro$oft.

I would say that you should have googled it, but I googled it and that slightly unreliable link showed up at the top of the list.

im using xp and i got max 2010 went to uninstall last and yeah..

You have windows 7, the folder is called "AppData" in 7, your power shut off, it got deleted, its a cache folder, just remake the folder, or do something that creates cache, like load a game or something, or I dont think 8 supports 7, or something not sure
