hey i have winrar, but i heard there are lots of extrating programs out there fro download, i just want to know if there is one that is better than winrar?


and yes i know this topic have been made before, but couldnt find it so i made another one

7ZIPs quite a good one.
It's Freeware
It supports almost all the file extensions, and you can make plugins for extra support
It's Simple to Install and Use
It looks nice

But 7-ZIP being best is an opinion
there may be better compression applications, as I have only used Win-ZIP, 7-ZIP and Win-RAR

7-Zip and Tugzip are both open source (free) projects and both work equally well.
