My suggestion was obviously better.

i have tried to use gammas map from the mediashare link above and keep getting a gathering data exception...any idea why this would be happening?

you have to use console [~] and then type in 'map_name [the name of Gamma's map]'

because it's an sp (single player) map and won't work through multiplayer.

unfortunately, most of these maps will not help with the most important thing about multiplayer. leading your shots.

your cone of auto-aim (red reticule) persists, despite having to lead your shots.

Your ping determines how far you will have to lead your shots, the less ping, the less you have to lead.

Learn to use strafe to aim. Strafing around will confuse players, and they won't know where to lead.

Also, USE GLITCHES TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.

Several glitches:

BACKPACK RELOAD
Hit Reload Twice. Swap weapons. Your weapon will continue reloading, although it's not equipped.

I tend to completely use a weapon's ammunition, and then mash reload multiple times, switch to my other weapon, use that weapon, and repeat the process.

DOUBLE MELEE
Melee, Grenade, Melee. This will cause consecutive melees, and will kill most slightly damaged targets. However, it will also chuck a grenade. So be careful.

RELOAD CANCEL
Melee after the clip goes in. You'll be able to zoom in instantly with a sniper/pistol without having to wait for the animation to finish.

Finally, remember:
THE PISTOL IS A 3 SHOT KILL.
Practicing with the Pistol will improve your all-around aiming skills. IE, it will be easier to snipe, shotgun, all that fun stuff.
