Good news and bad news. The good news is that I have a model for all the boulders in Standoff, finished missile silos (but it has my homemade textures on it), and they have all been attached successfully to the main BSP.
The BAD news is that the gmax file got corrupted, and I can’t open or export anything from it. I took a screenshot just before that must have happened (upload later). It’s really, really frustrating that I’ve lost all the time put into the terrain. HOWEVER, I still have scene files for the rocks, silos, and bases (if those were corrupted, I would die). Those are backed up just fine. Also, I made my own super-special map for the terrain before, so with some super-gmax-skills I can do something called heightmapping/displacing to get the ground terrain back.
Priority list: 1— SlappyThePirate restores model stuff 2— Standoff BITMAPS 3— Sky
In summary, the exterior bsp MODEL is complete, minus some backtracking I need to do (cliffs, attachment fixes). The only part left is the BASES. The bases are symmetrical, modeled, and have the main UVWs on them. So before they can be added, to finish the map…
IMPORTANT NOTE: I need a source for the Halo 3 standoff textures (BITMAPS). I already found texture sites, those are not what I need. If you know someone that CAN get them, please tell. I have a few already, but not the important ones!
THANK YOU!
PS: Work on the shaders for the bsp is underway. Some work can be done without the bitmaps… but those are VITAL. PPS: Don’t worry about the sky.

Go to your 3ds max directory, normally your in the "scenes" folder, go up a directory, to the main directory, and go into autoback, check if it's there.
Plus I asked for the .max a while ago so i can UV/texture it with the Halo 3 retail textures, if you ever responded, I would of had your .max file safe, and it would have been textured already, lolz. I'm still willing to, i'll do the bases too, thanks. [I love the bases, I've also wanted them, so if I can keep them for personal use aswell? :D] Edited by iHalo on Jul 30, 2010 at 02:49 PM

You have dropped the guitbomb on me indeed sir. If the mediafire's still good: http://www.mediafire.com/?yydtzyzmmyzI use gmax. this includes a structure BSP though. Yo everyone, I just read duce's topic on seamlessness. This means I'm already good to go with the exterior modeling. Minus the dishes, I'll be able to export after I restore. THNX and discuss PLZ
