hey guyz! i know theres a tut for this, but i cant really understand it.
i made an ai command that lets marines get on a hog, but they dont drive it. i think the problem is w/ the hog. there are these ai infos on the bottom of the tag, how do i configure that to let marines drive hog?

Tell them it's a flying vehicle in the tags. (Just note that their driving is guaranteed to be the worst you've ever seen.)

check -ai driver flying- in the $$vehicle$$ thing : /

I got warthogs to drive to firing points, but then they refuse to move there lazy buts afterwards D:<

The easiest way to do it is to make a custom animation for the hog, but that only works if you want the hog to go a certain way.

or, i should just follow those checkboxes instead of messing w/ the hog's anims.
and how would this be the "EASY" way?! making a custom anim for the hog? DAERP

E : also, what do i really check? ai can sidestep or ai flying?

yes, but they hardly ever move if you set sidestep :/

what did u do to make em move? threaten them that u will shoot his brains out if they dont move?

In the $$vehicle$$ thing i checked ai driving enabled and ai can sidestep, then in sapien i put a bunch of firing positions in the middle of the map, and some bipeds, when the drivers see the bipeds they go to the firing positions, problem is i can't get them to follow command lists or go to move positions

btw, threatening them wouldn't work, they have an army of tanks warthogs and ghosts 0_o

but the firing positions of the marines and covies(same as the floods) are the same. I highlighted all the firing pos. and copy,pasted it onto the other encounters. So your point is to make different firing pos. for the marine dirvers?

The best way to have AI driving Warthogs is by command list, IF you want the AI to drive the player around. However, if you want to use Firing Positions, create different sets for different teams.

Ex: Marines=A, Covies=B, Flood= C
