OK this time the problem is with the program it self. When I click rotate or move it does not show the thing which tells you what axies to move on. I hope you understand this as I am stuck with a PSP right now. I will try to make more sense later.

In the material editor, after you apply the bitmap, click the checkered blue cube.

It should work and it should be the same. In fact, I didn't realize they came out with a Max 2011

You know ''iLikeCheetos'' all we have to do is disable JavaScripts and you ''thing'' doesn't work. Also that is getting annoying and I hope Dennis bans you forever. /offtopic
Yes they did come out with a 3ds MAX 2011. I personally like 2010 better cause textureing is easier (for me anyway). And I have no idea how to revert my models back to 2010 so I kinda have to use 2011.

Either way does anyone know how to revert back to 2010 from 2011? If not that is ok but I would like to be able to. I know my brother found a way to but I can't find it. -Skidrow

fbx export maybe? u could export to wings3d and export back to max(just 2011 as a 3ds, into wings, out to 2010 as a 3ds)funny thing is wings3d can do materials but u might loose it. i start in wings just incase sicne it works with any version of max and most other 3d sofwtare.
