Just a few things about sp maps:

1. what are the best modified versions of a50, b40, c10, c20 c40 and d40?

2. I've heard a lot of negative for 'takedown'. whats so bad about it?

3. Tut2 is only 14.5mb. Is it any good?

4. are all the covert ops missions as shrot as e20?

5. is mopup fun? It looks really easy

6. is b40 firefight fun or is it randomly fun like gephryphobian firefight?

7. in CMT v2 of b40, do some of the bsp's always not load, or is that just a dud download?

8. in CMT v2 of a30, does halo always crash when u, after half an hour of endless killing, you get to a large forerunner structure and hold podition with the marines then go inside the structure and it crashes? or is it supposed to go to the next level? (i don't have a50 yet)

you need to manually switch bsps on b40 and manually load encounters.

a30 do object_destroy_all before going in. Lodex broke something and I could never figure out a real fix. Or you could manually go there when the level starts before things have been spawned, that would probably be the better approach since stuff won't be deleted.

b40 is extremley fun and cool, its made by this amazing mapper named lodex.

Not all covert ops are that short, E60 is STEALTH and strategy, took me a while to get into the church

b40 isnt random anyways. so yeah

i downloaded devmode but it doesn't work for some reason. i think its for 1.09 and i have 1.00 or something

Try the other way:
Make a shortcut of haloce.exe
right click and go to properties
change the target line so that it should look like this:
"HARD DISC DRIVE LETTER\GAME DIRECTORY\haloce.exe" -console -dev

Run the game and press the ~ button above the tab button
The downside is that you cant play online because this way was made for developers and players can easily use cheats online as there are cheats in dev mode

isnt it also help from arteen.. oh ya i think teh lag modeled a bsp for it i have the bsp in max :D

the bsp is called Lag

also... here's the shortcut way:

1. Go to your Halo Ce root/installation folder...
1.5: If you already have a shortcut on your desktop, skip step 2 and go on step 3.
2. Copy "haloce.exe" and paste, as shortcut, onto your desktop...
3. Right click the shortcut. Click on Properties.
4. On the target box/line... you will see "-insert hard disc drive letter-\-insert game directory-\haloce.exe"

Mine looks like this: "D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe"

5. Add "-console -dev" to the line after haloce.exe... so it will look like this: "-insert hard disc drive letter-\-insert game directory-\haloce.exe" -console -dev

mine looks like this: "D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -console -dev

6. Click Apply... and you're done :D

also it says that the cheats can't be executed is because dev mode is not on and that you may have did it wrong...

were you typing the cheat? if so... then put "0" to disable the cheat... "1" to enable...

ex: "cheat_medusa 1" to turn on
"cheat_medusa 0" to turn off

I made it and oh noez not the haloceripper =0.
Well that was the from the people who didn't play it. For those who did complained Encounters were to much, to many hunters, and teleporters should be replaced with Dropships.

I just thought it was a bit unorganized

you told me to play it and i told u that it was boring nothing special not hard enough i could beat it in 10 minutes on heroic.
