Maps like this, http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=5274, it is a heavily unbalanced map.

I am talking of course about the slow pistol. But first, to understand the pistol we need to know about the pistol, here is a brief summary.

HALO COMBAT EVOLVED: The pistol was that thing you carried around with you as an inferior sidearm, to the assault rifle. Until you noticed it was a 3 shot kill. Soon enough you, and EVERYONE was using the pistol at medium to long ranges, against the now inferior assault rifle, or even any weapon on any map. Yes this was the best gun in the game, and I liked it that way.

HALO 2: After much talk about how the pistol was over powered by butt hurt noobs bungie sized it down. To a weak pistol, I won't talk much about it here, because it just sucks. It even got the name "peashooter." PEAS CANT BE USED IN COMBAT!

HALO 3: The same as Halo 2, except with the original model from Combat Evolved, with tiny changes. The most disappointing is the fact it still has its more than 3 shot kills which pisses me off.

HALO CUSTOM EDITION: With the features of making maps, yet not as much as the features of Halo 2/3 people wanted to emulate them. Which gave way to this abomination, http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=5274, yes, a map made by a battle rifle fan. Such a horrid person, this person only wants to joke about the pistol. Which could have been the strongest gun in the game, if it wasn't for it being so slow.



This gun, which could kill you in 3 shots, has practically the slowest killing time next to the rocket launcher. It takes a few seconds to even get the second shot out.

I demand that this website destroy this map. Its horrible, that map is bad you should feel bad.

That map you linked, was a classic map. It had no custom weapons whatsoever, so you cannot complain that the halo 3 pistol in that map sucked when there was none.

Have you even read the Readme, and my reasons for releasing that map? I agree with you on one point, and that is why the map was featured, but that is not up to me it is up to Dennis.

As for the rest of your argument, I must say that I agree.

By posting this paragraph, and in this order, you say that you are talking about the "slow pistol" in that specific map, and NOT Halo 3. This means you assume there is a "slow pistol" in that map when in fact there is not.

so, this guy is complaining over a sidearm, which in real life you would only use a sidearm if you need to reload, your out of ammo, or if your primary weapon doesn't meet your current situation.

Are you really saying that having the pistol 3sk with a fast firing rate is balanced?

so...your saying an entire map is unbalanced because you hate the pistol...? wtf? just go pick of a BR or stick with the AR if you hate it so much.

I don't understand why people would go so far in demanding a map to be taken down, even though it was custom made and probably had alot of work done in making it. I have no problem with the weapons.
