I have got my map to work in halo Developer mode but when I put spawn points and compile it to a map file and then try it on halo developer, it opens an error message saying Gathering exception data. Is there a way i can get it to work with the spawn points?

What is halo dev? If it is an MP map you place spawns in sapien then set them to what game mode you want them to be for. In MP you make sure they are all set to ''none'' then you save. compile w/ tool and then open it in HaloCE. If it is a MP map you select the game mode the spawns are for. If it is a SP map you have to use the console with the ''-console'' parameter. To open console you press the tilda (the thing to the left of ''1''. Then you type in ''Map_name test'' without the quotes. Where I put ''test'' is your map name. So if the map is called ''desert'' you put ''map_name desert''. That should help.

Ok, I tried that but it just says "waiting for space to clear" when i play the map.

Edit: I misread what you meant but unless i put the spawn points for "none", it just goes back to the exception window whenever I play the map

did you set the spawn points for "all games"?
did you set spawns for both red and blue (0 and 1)?
did you place something over the spawns?
did you make the scenario a "multiplayer"

I just put them as all games, I have two spawns, one for each team (0 and 1), there isnt anything else on the map yet so they can't actually be blocked but how do i set it as multiplayer?

open the scenario in guerilla,
under where you added a sky, there is a solo and multi dropdown menu
select multi and save.

Ok, it is set as multiplayer but when i go to play it on halo CE, it just says "Gathering Exception data". I made sure those four things were right... I'm lost.
