ingame or in sapien?
if its ingame, its trial and error, just pick up all the weapons and fire them, do some crazy stuff the campaign wasn't for you to do etc.
in sapien, its just checking debug.txt after adding a tag in question.

looks great so far. desperately needs unwrapping ha but looks pretty great so far

since its an island, i would like to see more sand. i like the look and feel of the terrain you have so far, but some sand would be great.

the top part you were talking about could use some more of those structures you have placed around the island. those look pretty cool. as part of the level, i wanted to add a part where you hole up into a tower and fight off waves of enemies. preferably a type of futuristic "bell tower". that will make sense later ha. the structures also should look older and ruined, and sunken into the ground.

it looks absolutely fantastic so far. youre doing a great job so far and i really like what you have going. if possible, do you have a time estimate on when this will be completed?

everything looks awesome though keep it up!

Giant polies! O No! Don't be lazy now, make some good terrain in there Those planes are seriously huge dude. This map has good potential and we wouldn't want to ruin the terrain now would we? :P

also the unwrap wont take long but scorp needs to finalize all the bsp's for me then ill unwrap everything and fix textures

Im not sure how this is going to be designed. Is the story or encounter coming first or is the bsp coming first with the story and encounters being crammed in there to suit a flat twisty canyon. Just because a map is bigger than bloodgulch doesn't mean its great. Higuy is talking about the model itself, not how you populate it. I'd imagine is just a mess of wasted polies in there, just looking from your last screen shot.

i was thinking of asking sonic to define the encounters or design a layout but never got around to it, could now be a good time to ask?, also the part being bigger than bloodgulch i was thinking of it as a flaw not some super awesome thingy

Its never too late to ask and redesign in this situation and always best to start with some sort of plan rather than not having a plan. Not having a plan almost always means that you will have to start over and remake the bsp or make constant painful adjustments, resulting in frustration and wasted time.
