First of all, read http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=27378
Secondly, post the last paragraph of the file debug.txt found in your Halo CE directory.

Yes, but what is the .scenario? I doubt it's a problem with the actual sapien program.

Well I going ask the question that I always ask when I see sapien-debug error.

Do you have duel processors?

An EXCEPTION ACCESS VIOLATION is never caused by dual core processors. It means that the user is restricted from accessing the scenario in Sapien, according to some help thread back on the Gearbox forums. In order to bypass this, the solution is to recursively extract the map.

1. open hek+
2. open the map file you want to extract
3. select the scenario you want to recursively extract and drag it to the tag extraction queue
4. check the checkbox right next to the .scenario file in the extraction queue (thats for recursive extraction)
5. click the start button in the extraction queue window, and wait for the extraction to complete.
6. done.

Does it crash after that? If not, you're probably just not waiting long enough. Sapien often takes a long time to open.
