I looked at how tiamat set up the cloak wraith for downflow and the tachikoma for hugeass, but t hey seem to use different methods. Does anyone understand specifically how tiamat got active camo working for vehicles (yes I know it's not the real active camo)?

Its functions, when you crouch, it activates a water shader.

He used a function to change the color of tachikoma when you hit the crouch button. And he set the tachikoma's shader as chicago transparent, or something similar to that.

You should look closely at the functions, and colors for the vehicle tag.
Also, look how he set up his shader, and either mimick it or replace the bitmaps used with your new ones.
Function (C i think in the wraith) goes to the source C on a shader over the wraith.

Wait a minute, couldn't the player biped do that exact same thing?

And like the flashlight, you could set a meter to show you how much time is left. Much like in halo 2 for the elite.

Let's see you use a function to change the FP hands.

Well, for the most part, the point is so the Biped looks camo.

I was thinking about giving the biped the ability to use this false stealth shader when crouching. I also would have adjusted the radar so players that crouch would not show up. In effect, recon missions in team games (especially CTF) would be much easier. The false stealth also wouldn't be able to remove the red reticle effect if another player aims at him.
