Well, I have seen many people around with resolutions of 1080p, which looks as if it also changes the FOV. I would like to know how to do so as there is no in-game option.

Thanks in advance :).

Create a shortcut of the HCE .exe.
Right click this shortcut and press Properties.
In the Target window, at the end of all the text already there, add -Vidmode [height],[width],[refresh rate] (without the [])
So after you're done, it should look like:

"X:\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -Vidmode XXXX,XXX,XX

So it'd be this for me, since I have a refresh rate of 60Hz:

-Vidmode 16,9,60

Yes except you probably want 1600,900,60 instead of that über small resolution. Also add a space before the "-vidmode". I haven't tried it with a big V, but a standard v works.

Okay thanks. My computer spat it to an exception block telling me that it wouldn't work.

So, is this correct? *halo.exe" -vidmode 1900,1080,60
Because I now get a Fatal Error.

"A problem occured initialzing Direct 3D. Hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run DXDIAG."

I haven't been able to enable hardware acceleration for a while now, I use to be able to. Would anyone be able to help?

Most likely your unable to support that resolution.
Also, 1080p is "1920x1080", not 1900.

Most likely your unable to support that resolution.

1080p is my native resolution....

[EDIT]
:/, aparently changing the resolution to 1920 fixed it....

I could've sworn the latest patch added the ability to use higher resolutions.

Update to 1.10 and I'm sure you don't even have to bother with typing these command parameters.
