Well, I have seen many people around with resolutions of 1080p, which looks as if it also changes the FOV. I would like to know how to do so as there is no in-game option.
Thanks in advance :).

Create a shortcut of the HCE .exe. Right click this shortcut and press Properties. In the Target window, at the end of all the text already there, add -Vidmode [height],[width],[refresh rate] (without the []) So after you're done, it should look like:
"X:\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -Vidmode XXXX,XXX,XX

Yes except you probably want 1600,900,60 instead of that über small resolution. Also add a space before the "-vidmode". I haven't tried it with a big V, but a standard v works.

So, is this correct? *halo.exe" -vidmode 1900,1080,60 Because I now get a Fatal Error. "A problem occured initialzing Direct 3D. Hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run DXDIAG."
I haven't been able to enable hardware acceleration for a while now, I use to be able to. Would anyone be able to help? Edited by Hawkeye 117 on Jun 10, 2010 at 05:39 PM

I could've sworn the latest patch added the ability to use higher resolutions. Edited by supersonic124 on Feb 14, 2016 at 07:22 PM
