I highly doubt it... Because the multi-kill codes are governed by the standard unchangeable halo program files.... all it does is use th resource from the tags when it needs it. For my game, since overkill is 4 kills I simply overwrote the original killtacular sound tag with my overkill sound... This is the only way I can think of add in an overkill into halo.
PS. Using that way causes killtacular to disappear Edited by CPU Terminator on Jun 8, 2010 at 03:01 PM

But can script of a map detect when a player kills someone? (I know sapp can but idk about the script of a map.) If it can the scrip only needs to messure time ticks between the first kill and the following ones. When it detects like 7 kills in 7 second (or something like that) It calls the sound of some guy saying "OVERKILL!!!". Is that a possebility? Also only the player that has the 7 kills in 7 seconds should hear this ofcourse but that is of later concern.

You can script kill sounds, but it takes a while. You're just redoing what bungie did.

Also Dennis, I edit that post now but wasn't there a rule not to quote posts whit a little offence in it? Please remove your quote so we can get past this.
People I still have no idea how to make the overkill please help me out!

How you mean painting on my foreheat? In metafor: What paint did I use?
On topic: Ok people I just need someone that can give me advise over how to make the script I want to try making this.
This is what the script must be capeble of:
- Reconize kills - Know who made the kill - On the first kill by that player it must start counting down time - On the first kill of the player it must record the number of kills - When the time expired:
+on 5 kills let the voice finish saying: dubble kill, triple kill, killtaculair and then say 'superkill' (only say it to the player that made the kills)
+on 7 kills let the voice finish saying: dubble kill, triple kill, killtaculair and then say 'extreme killl' (only say it to the player that made the kills)
+on 10 kills let the voice finish saying: dubble kill, triple kill, killtaculair and then say 'overkill' (only say it to the player that made the kills)
+reset the timer (and don't start counting down untill next kill is made ofcourse) +reset the number of kills the player made
-there must be a timer and killcount seperate for any player, so it can happen to multiple people in about the same time. -If the player dies before the timer ends the script will react as if the time expired. -If the player quits just reset everything ofcourse so the game won't crash. -If the killcount goes over a number (let's say it ended on 9) when the time expired it must react as if it was (in this case) 7. So it should take the nearest number difined whit a voice DOWNWARDS. 9 kills do not make an ocerkill but do give an extremekill. -On every kill whitin the time the timer resets and continous counting down.
(So if the player makes a kill the timer starts to run down from 3 seconds too 0. However on 1 second left the player makes an other kill. Now the timer goes back to 3 seconds and continus to count down too 0. however the player makes a thirt kill whiting this time, this time 2 secons left. The timer goes to 3 again but keeps counting. Also the number of kills the player made whitin the time now stands on 3. This goes on untill the time expires. At that point the player has made 9 kills whitin the time. The timer and the number of kills reset and wait for the next kill made to start all over again. Also the script will make the player hear the voice (like the voice that says dubblekill) say "Extremekill".
Notice that if you reach overkill the scrip won't call superkill and extremekill, this is good for gameplay because it would be anoiing to hear: 'Dubblekill, triplekill, killtaculair, superkill, extremekill, overkill.
Wow this is a whole lot of detail... The script however is quite simple I think but I have no idea how to make it.
Please people show me your skills! If you can even make a litle part of this script or give me usefull advise IT IS WORTH A POST! PLEASE REPLY! Edited by Niels on Jun 10, 2010 at 12:35 PM

I'm doing this for my new map now, because it's easy and possible. Thanks for the idea. I wan't do the whole script RIGHT NOW. That's dumb. these kinds of scripts take a lot of time for testing, though. On LAN.
