try to impost the .wrl tool made for the object you are compiling (should be the same name, like if you are compiling example.scenario, the .wrl should be example.wrl) into 3ds max together with the model you are making, and check the stuff the .wrl highlighted.

the .wrl should be in the same directory as the HEK and tool.

Your model is crud.
Go to edge selection (the not-filled-in-triangle button in Editable Mesh) and scroll/look over there for "Select open edges."
Edges will be selected. If you can't see them, press F4.
Now fix dat shid! Those red lines are HOLES.
Weld the points that make the holes open.

Maybe a face is non-colideble. For HEK the bsp is open but 3ds max won't detect that since in't in the name of the material applied for that face. It it are 3 errors i't probebly just 1 face (a triangel).

Hey, that's probably it!
What are your material names?
Make sure you have all your normals right (no flipped faces).

Flipped would give you update edge errors so that's not it. I got experience whit this ^.^ It's very well posseble that your material is non-render. You can still find the exact edges by importing the .wrl whit chimp .wrl importer.
