A lot of my AI won't spawn in game, only in sapien. I'm getting this error a LOT
06.05.10 09:29:24 AI knowledge database (768 entries) is full (warns once every 30 sec)

That means you have way too many AI entities placed in Sapien. This however, should not stop the AI from being placed in CE.

Huh... well A: how can I have too many AI entities if I only have like 50-100 "guys" running around at once and that's not nearly how many are in a campaign map. B: how can I fix this C: then why aren't my AI showing up in CE?

a: there are never 100 ai at one time in the campaign, even in c10-343 guilty spark. That's why swarms appear in waves. B: In ce, they should be. I've made huge swarms, and there's a grunt-bloodgulch where there are like, 60 at once. Maybe. Anyway, don't put in so many ai and see if that works.

Still doing it, after I reduced the Ai by over half, the max is about 40-50, still getting the same error, same number (768)

...Why do you have so many AI? In the campaign, the AI aren't created until they're needed, and they sometimes respawn from a hidden source once you kill them.

uh, I'm playing around in sapien, populating ghydrophobia. right now I just have jackals, grunts, and marines, and I'm just seeing how they behave in large amounts. I've only populated the lower tier of the map too.

Either way, this error won't stop the AI from being placed in CE. Are you sure you're recompiling the map correctly?

uh, the error stopped but ya, Ai sitll a no-show. I'm compiling it with tool

tool...

Show me a screenshot of your encounter through the properties pane.

They may not be initially created.

They won't appear in Sapien unless he was manually typing in "ai_place encounter"

uh I realized I made a pretty dumb mistake a few minutes ago. Normal and insane counts on all my newest created squads were set at 0. I was neglecting to fill out those fields. everything is working better now.
