Aaah, Halo and Aero, the combination of words that can be considered legendary and give me a warm uber pownage feeling inside on daily basis.

Then I started reading this thread and the feeling was gone within a split of a second.
I think I state correctly to say that the topic name is incorrect and should be called Halo Crysis, both for the project and the state of this thread.

@iHalo - Sean Aero, would rather see you play with the Halo Engine and keep people where they are instead of starting a project which might end up dividing the community even further. That is if you succeed (*down Higuy, down boy*).

This brings me to my question: "How does this project support the Halo CE community?"

It supports the Halo theme, but not the Halo Custom Edition game. Personally, I think this is a great project, and is in very good intentions, but Sean has a strong point, you should think about moving this to a Crysis mod forum.

virtualdub+xvid, or avidemux for x264 compression. Sony vegas is not bad, but movie maker is a piece of garbage.

where's the facepalm pic when I need it? Amount of vram and ram to run crysis is next to irrelevant. You can have a gt220 with 2gb of vram, and it'll still lag crysis like hell. gpu, followed by cpu, and lastly amount of ram of each matters.

I have 10gb ram, 2gb vram, and 16 cores.. it can still lag, It's because ppl are liek, yay! PC upgrade, MAX SETTINGS with 1000000 items on a map, YAY! and kill there pcs =/

i can run crysis on vury high :B

therefor, amount of ram is irrelevant. What really matters more is cpu(lynnfield, allendale, bloomfield, thuban, etc) and gpu(rv770, gt200, etc)

Josh, stop and think before you post, you very well got the idea of what I was saying about graphics capability....... (also, the Xbox 360 is a computer)

back to subject:

Lower the graphics, make the gameplay better, and work on the bumping, all good then! (what good is a game if 1/5 of the downloaders cannot use it).

I have a ps3, 360, higher end pc.
The consoles do not even come close to what a pc can do. So please, think before you post. :)

a 360 is a very very very crappy computer if you consider it one.

CPU, RAM, Hard Drive, (Small internal chip memory you cannot access for the CPU and RAM to run with), CD drive, USB port, hmm... sounds like a computer!

The original Xbox: CD drive, processing port, ethernet port, running memory..... just like your DVD player. (actually got that from an Xbox tech guy over the phone).

Like I said.... A really really crappy computer if you put it like that.

Also, never knew DVD players had ethernet ports. You must be talkin to some wiz man. Darn, what's his number?
