ok i need some help on the controls on gmax, first is there a free style draw, like i can draw the enviroment my self instead of making constand lines and circles, also im wondering if theres a dig toop like in far cry.

I think the closest you can get to that it is by making a plane with lots of segments and then moving vertices up or down with soft selection enabled. In 3ds max there is a push and pull tool, but unfortunatly, gmax does not have this tool and you will have to use this makeshift technique.
