someone plz help me i have haloce and i was wondering how do get the map to work
its booty_butt2 i put it in my maps folder and it doesent come up on anything when i choose a level its not there someone plz help me |

Make sure you are extracting to the "Halo Custom Edition/maps" folder, and not the "halo/maps" folder.
Also, as said above, make sure you open the zip and take the map out of it. Don't just put the zip in the folder, if that's what you did. Edited by Alpha Series on May 10, 2010 at 08:45 PM |

Is it in a .zip file? If so right click it and extract it then move the .map file to Halo Custom Edition/maps

id be suprised if he had anything like winRAR installed. if you dont dude download winRAR, install it, THAN right click and extract.

thanks for your answers i did it and it works but i have another question is the map playable online ?????????????? i did it and no one joined and i cant find a online game the with the same map help me plz

Sadly that is for two reasons. One, this game's online community is withering away... and Two, they have to, themselves, already have the map to join you.

Ai maps are... Interesting in multiplayer. Since they don't sync, you get mysterious deaths. And when you are taking damage on one computer, you aren't on the other. It creates such chaos that can hardly be described!
To a degree, fun. To a degree, frustrating. And in some cases, hilarious :) But no. I wouldn't play an AI map online. And also, on multiplayer, AI's run out of ammo... |
