what is the problem? someone told me something about it being out of sequence but i have no idea what that means. anyone help? i have everything textured.

It was me who told you that.
If you are using anything other than 3ds max8 or earlier and blitzkrieg, you should just use those because you get less of these errors.

Did you convert to mesh before export?
Is everything textured?

i imported a c4d model into 3ds 2010, and used bluestreak, which is supposedly "version independent". can i give someone a .3ds or a .max file and get them to do this?

how do i convert to mesh

It's something to do with an incorrect material order.

how do i determine what order they are supposed to go in?
