Meh...school sucks.

Opinion?

Need to start over. Ideas, experience, learned techniques not lost.
Other areas, lacking much skill...basic skills even. Will try again?

storyline docs lost: memory still good (will remember).

You should really fix that clipping with the camera, it goes right through the pelican. Maybe have it fly backwards out of the cockpit window, then turn around to the rear of the pelican.

Camera should go like the normal b30 one. Add some extra camera points and show the banshee's come in. Then go back to the back of the pelican and show chief look out, then run to the gun. Then fade into gameplay and give the objective.

Thanks for the ideas.

However, the camera needs to have a point where it shows MC going to the gun, then the camera looks away (so the MC can be actually placed in the "gunner" seat).

Also, If I do recall, even in Halo 3 on "the covenant" level, MC hardly seemed more than annoyed when an AAA wraith shot him out of the sky. I doubt he'd run to the gun.

I'm going to stick with the camera looking back at the crew, but I'll try to adjust it. If it doesn't work, I'll try what you suggested addvancebo.

Thanks higuy as well (I believe the vid description was going to do something similar to what you're saying).

Quote: 3 elites are shown up on a cliff top. they're patrolling. One of them sneaks up on another one and scares him. The scared elite turns around and smacks the stalker. The third elite, who was not involved in the incident, points and says "w0rt w0rt w0rt!". The two elites stop bickering and look where the third elite was. The bickering elites run to their banshees, while the third one gets inside an anti-aircraft wraith. The camera rotates around to show this, and to show the pelicans, which are way off in the distance. The camera then quickly zooms in towards the pelicans, then stops as the pelicans fly by it.

Camera fades in with a white flash and shows (through the relative camera command) the back of the pelican (note: during the flash, the pelican's recorded animation resets, so that enough time can be made for the following scenes).

Cortana plays the default dialogue. Then the camera switches to a scene showing the banshees approaching the pelican (approaching banshees do a fly-by the camera). During this scene, the pelican animation resets again (for the final time).

The camera then switches to inside the pelican bay, following the camera movements and animations that took place during this film (mostly). If there was sound during the video, you would have heard cortana say "echo 419, there are two covenant banshees on your six". Another difference is that once the camera stops following the pelican, it will zoom back fast to show the banshees right behind the pelicans (with another fly-by).

The next scene will show MC manning the pelican turret. His objective will be to shoot down the banshees before they destroy the pelican (which, they can).
