Well the easiest way is to place the .sound tags in the designated slots in the .weapon tag. "Reload effect" should have a sound tag in the white box next to it. Then there is the firing effects, which when opened can lead you to a drop down box where you can sub-in .sound tags in the white boxes for different sounds.

Where did you store your .wav sounds?
And the sounds are meant to be placed in the model_animations. You could have them as ready and reload effects, but if it's just a sound, it's preferably placed in the model_animations tag for ease of reference.

Telling me that you store the sounds in the directory does not specifically tell me where. I want an exact location.

ok look thats not the problem (or is it) but the REAL problem is tool just tells me
importing sounds\music\epicmusic
nothing else. and 1 and 0.1 are all my known options so if 1 doesnt work what else will
and whats a platform :D? Edited by lolzar on Apr 25, 2010 at 12:14 PM

Your problem here is that you aren't storing it inside a folder with the name of the sound you want. It should be placed in: data\sounds\music\epicmusic\epicmusic.wav
