Below are some new pictures from a mod of longshaft that I've been working on for some time, Dogs of War. This is an epic battle between Covenant forces (red team) and Marines (blue team), with AI driven land and air vehicles.

Refer to my previous post for the first group of pics I took showing a team of marines reinforcements (pics 4 thru 8) awaiting transport to the battlefield.

I have since revised this team to be Spartans outfitted in a woodland color scheme to better fit the surrounding scenery and landscape.

Trying to work out the kinks, tweaking the AI...want it to be good, so I don't want to release it prematurely. I guess I could release it as a beta first.

Uploading this map sometime this holiday weekend. There are approximately 90 AI warriors, with AI driven Hogs, Jets, Turrets, Banshees, Fr-Ghosts and Wraiths!

Dogs of War is now released...check it out!!!

Be sure to download and use clipping distance changer here:

Use the flashlight "Q" button to load and unload reinforcements on both teams from Pelicans, Phantoms, Warthogs and Kestrels.

Your storylines I have always found interesting... you should definitely try writing Halo fan fiction,

As for this map, I would download it, but my PC specs are probably under the minimum. A 128 MB GFX card won't suffice me here.

Sure it will...I am running it on a VAIO laptop with 128 MB GFX.

As we speak, I am uploading a Nightfight version of the map to halomaps.org.

i tried playing your map just now.
kept exceptioning the game after a few seconds,
also attempted to switch gametype from CTF to team slayer, same problem.

Should work for all game types. Try rebooting and opening again. Never received an exception before on this map, and Dennis won't upload a map if it exceptions when he tests it out first. Are you using Vista, Windows 7 or XP?

Sarge it work fine with me. But one things Mysterion with all due repects sir. Your map is so big, it took me forever to get the battle. And its laggy as hell and this my new computer too. But still great map and I still enjoying playing to this day,

Reduce the video to 640x480 or 800x600, and tweak the video settings...no lag here.

redownloaded the map, still exceptions.
i suggest that you reduce the number of ai in the map next time.
so, i guess its probably my computer or the ai in the map being the problem then.

Downloaded it, had fun. Lots of it too. If only the AI synced, but hey, no one can resist CE AI teammates.

Thanks...make sure to use the clipping distance changer, you can see the enemy pilots on their way from the other ridgeline!

Research some pictures on how ground should look, at the moment its just a random field with flat grass with some unnatural cliffs around it :/

Make it look realist like, so have some small canyons, trees, actual grass areas ect..
