So i am making a Mech vehicle and i have run into another problem. OK here it is: The Mech i am working on has two part to its leg(s), upper and lower. How do i make one part occur after the other? Like how would i make the upper part move first then the lower part? So there kinda like working in a team. Would i do this process in Gorilla or do i do it in 3ds Max? Here are some pictures for visualization.

I would assume that you move it in the desired order once you animate it.

Thanks....but would i do each part of the leg a different animation? or would i do all of it together? Like would i animate the upper leg and then save it as its own animation file and then do the same for the lower part of the leg and also save it as a separate animation file? or would i save the lower and upper part of the leg as the same animation file? After animating it (of course).
Thanks
