Did anyone notice that there is very little dialogue with the marines? Did anyone else also notice that there were only 2 voice actors for the marines in Halo 1? I want to put together a little project where everyone can record themselves saying some lines from Halo 1, and possibly Halo 2. To upload them as sound tags for everyone to use. Instead of the boring dialogue you get when you use the default Halo 1 marines. I personally would like to have a variety of voice actors than having to listen to 2 of the same voice actors for the marines. Is anyone up for it? All you would have to do is send them to me on xfire. Then I can make them into sound tags to upload them to halomaps. They have to be in mp3 format, or wave. Either one will do. My xfire is under my avatar if anyone wants to help out.

There's actually five different permutations for the marines, and each sound for each permutation has separate permutations itself. When compiling new marine dialog, I had to obtain so many permutations of one sound just to satisfy that sound and make it less repetitive. To be quite honest, I'd hate to hear what a community pain sound sounded like, or the berserking sound.

I still would like to see some custom dialogue though. The standard marine dialogue is getting a little old now.

Now you "see" them. I wasn't aware that you could visually interpret sound signals O.o

Extracted audio files, grouped permutations together, compiled as sounds, tagged each sound tag with love, and then tagged the dialog tag.
