Its been along time since I have messed with halo so I am having to learn it all over again.
I modeled my covi fusion coil and made it destructible it blows up in game. The problem I am having though is when it blows up there is no explosion effect I have ran across this before and fixed it but I dont remember what I did to fix it. I have the body depleted under my collision geometry set to frag explosion but when it blows up in game it shows a flash of light and no effects. any help would be great thanks.

Before asking anything, what is your graphics card?

Certain graphics cards (heck even the new ones) have difficulty rendering certain effects (decals, explosions, the like).

Most of the time it's Nvidia cards, but some times it can be ATI as well.

Download the CMT map with all of the tags and look at the fusion battery. It should tell you what is what really.

Use the GBX model importer on the site by CAD/Kornmann/Polar (whoever it is). Then, go to Guerilla where the tag is and go to "File" in the User bar at the top of Guerilla and hit export. Import model with the GBX model importer then import nodes/markers. If it has spheres on it when you import nodes and stuff, then whalla. If not, then I'm not sure.

I got it to work! Funny thing is that it wasnt anything to do with my tags. All my tags are perfect it had to do with the frame. The frame was below the object to much so the effect was taking place under the map.
