I read both articles, but still cannot manage to play the firedfight AirLock map.

when i click to play it in multiplayer, it closes with the "Gathering Exception Data"

thats because you can't play it in multiplayer, at the main menu, type: map_start_firefight_airlock

at least I think thats right

Re-read the article especially this part:
Quote:
1) Run from the Console.

To run these levels from the console you first need to have your console enabled. see this article for details on changing your start up Icon to enable the console.

Start Halo CE

When you get to screen where you select the "Multiplayer" selection option hit your Tilde [~] Key to bring up the console

In the game console type: map_name {name of map} then hit return. Example to run the desertplat.map level type "map_name desertplat" or to run the Halo Level "map_name a30"

Yeah, I love how there's like, hardly any variety.
I also love the monotone choice of map, which makes for extremely boring and repetitive gameplay.

But of course, add in bullet time and ripped firefight sounds, and nerds will orgasm.

It would be much better if firefights (and SP maps in general) Used CUSTOM Bsp, not just rips, reuses and other maps Never intended for AI battles.

I love it Because it's fun. I don't look at the mapping aspects, only if it's fun or not.

True, But does that mean I have to criticize everything about it? Why not just play and give your opinion without being trolled

Just because you criticize something doesn't make you a troll.
What would be the point of beta testing? To get people to criticize your map, and how to make it better.
